 Difficulties during Development  

Amid the challenge in developing the product, the crisis of COVID-19 boosts innovation and ideas for better and effective face masks. The development of TriMask's revolutionary features and technology changed how we look at protection and comfort. This product brings effective and best protection that the public need today. TriMask adopts technology and creates value from ideas. TriMask is an innovation crafted through exploring and redesigning a more effective facemask where it was subjected to different tests to ensure its optimal function. The efficiency and sustainability of TriMask connects the needs of the people and environment by its value.

Difficulties upon Implementation

Monopolizing the market will be one of the major problems that may be encountered when  the product is released since this is not as cheap as the conventional face mask. The effectivity and reusability, as proven in the methodology of innovation, is a direct reflection of the price itself. A typical consumer facing a global pandemic and having an economic crises might  prefer buying a typical face mask given their affordability. This can be a challenge on the  innovative product since the yield of future production will depend on the existing capital. Maintaining the efficacy while lowering the price is an issue on the economic aspect of TriMask.

Efficacy

 As compared to other cloth mask mask, TriMask is more likely to effectively filter aerosol particles . One of its goals is to improve the efficacy of the usual cloth mask given its low efficacy. TriMask was theoretically designed to similarly perform like the surgical masks which are effective in protecting against infectious diseases. Reducing the transmission of communicable diseases with the usage of TriMask will fulfill the intentions of developing this innovative product.

            One of the major goals in developing TriMask is to produce a product which has the potential of solving solid waste pollution, particularly the mask pollution with the ongoing pandemic in the present. In totality, 5-15% of the global solid waste came from medical waste where face mask belongs into. TriMask is a reusable face mask upon washing and drying, making  it an environmental-friendly product. If TriMask will be used by most of the general public, the usage and generation of single-use, non-biodegradable will be reduced which is good for the environment. Further development of the product and marketing strategies of TriMask as a permanent replacement for surgical mask is necessary.
