Directions for Use

  A.     How to Use TriMask 1.      Put the mask on your face with the logo on the right facing out. 2.      Adjust the ear loops to improve fit. 3.      Bend the nose wire over the nose bridge. 4.      Extend to entirely cover the nose, mouth, and chin. B.     How to Wash TriMask 1.      Wash every once a week or when it is dirty. 2.      Hand wash in tap water or include in washing machine laundry with laundry soap or detergent. 3.      Do not use bleach or any disinfectant. 4.      Do not scrub, twist, rub, and wring. 5.      Hang outdoor to dry.

Mechanism Description

        One of the greatest features of TriMask is its filtration mechanism. Polyester fabric is a hydrophobic polymer that can easily block respiratory droplets from the external environment. Its particle size ranges between 60nm - 4µm, which is highly unfavorable for microbes to penetrate but good enough for gas diffusion. On the other hand, the randomness of fibers in a spun-bonded NWPP filter for the inner layer provides high particle filtration. This is similar to how filters work in actual surgical masks. This is also the recommended filter by the WHO for washable face masks because of its high integrity (The Conversation, 2020).
